The Orchestra presented their holiday concert to an audience of friends and family on Dec. 15. They played  a variety of Christmas tunes in honor of the season. The concert was directed by Heather Klundt and accompanied by Band instructor Susan M. Jordahl, who played piano and percussion. Concert Orchestra started the show off with “For Unto Us, from the Messiah” and “We Need A Little Christmas” followed.  This piece was conducted by a service learning student: Brenden Mandt. They finish their part of the show with “English Carol Collage.” Sinfonia Orchestra was next, starting with “Highland Holiday” and closing with “Sleigh Ride.” The two Orchestra classes combined and led the audience in a Christmas Sing A-Long which included “Joy To The World,” “O Come All Ye Faithful,” “Hark! The Herald Angels Sing” and “Silent Night.” The show closed with “Auld Lang Syne.”
