Insomnia Cookies opened its first location in North Dakota on Jan. 7, 2017. It is located on Broadway Street and open until 3:00 a.m. If the customer does not feel like going to the store location, they can have the food delivered if he or she lives within a three mile radius.

The brand was first opened in New York City in 2003 by college student Seth Berkowitz, now having more than 100 locations.

The cookies themselves are fantastic, as one should expect from a bakery. The selection is also a boon for the brand.

The prices are higher than average for cookies, but the product is higher in quality. It may seem overpriced, but the money is well spent.

While it is understandable to limit the delivery area to a reasonable margin, Insomnia Cookies is limiting customer support by keeping it within three miles of the store.

The only real problem facing Insomnia Cookies in Fargo right now is recognizability and fame, but will most likely stop being a problem in the future.

As citizens of Fargo, this cannot be allowed to pass. Small chains like this should be supported because if they were not, brands such as McDonalds would not be household names as they are today. Keeping the bakers restless is the only way to keep ourselves satisfied.
